Reporting to the Director of Immunology Strategic Operations, International Marketing, this position leads the strategic planning, governance, and alignment of marketing initiatives that span across all immunology therapeutic areas (e.g., rheumatology, dermatology, gastroenterology). This position also drives portfolio-wide priorities in close partnership with TA GMs in IMCO, Area leaders, and affiliate marketing teams as well as the US Pan-Immunology team. This position will also Lead/develop strategic business plans and frameworks that contribute to the development of the cross-indication aspects for the LRP (for example, pediatric indication, new formulations, holistic immunology view of impact of LOE). This position also collaborates and engages with a matrixed team, which includes (but not limited to): market access, medical affairs, finance, regulatory, legal, supply operations, health economics, clinical development, R&D, public affairs, medical and regulatory review, patient relations, business insights, OEC, and training. Key Responsibilities Include:
- Develops and implements portfolio-level marketing strategies to maximize patient, HCP, and stakeholder impact across diverse immunology indications.
- Ensures alignment and coordination between IMCO, US, Area, and affiliate country-level immunology teams.
- Facilitates strategic prioritization, resource distribution, and governance, taking into account regulatory and scientific nuances unique to immunology (e.g., rapidly evolving mechanisms, combination therapies, biomarker segmentation, multi-indication launches).
- Maintains two-way dialogue with IMCO/Area/Affiliate leaders to ensure the portfolio strategy is responsive to local needs.
- Stays current on immunology pipeline developments, competitive landscape, emerging science, and patient journey evolution.
- Identifies, analyzes, and translates portfolio, product, brand, customer, patient, and relevant information to frame and solve business problems, identify improvement opportunities and strengthen brand marketing plans across Immunology wherever relevant.
- Effectively directs research team cross-Immunology and above-brand efforts in primary research projects and understands the healthcare business environment including familiarity with International markets and payers, distribution channels, and pricing strategies.
- Experience in the analysis of financial and market results to optimize business plans; ability to assist in the development of financial plans (Annual plans and LRP).
- Develops and articulates effective portfolio marketing strategies that provide impact, are executable by TAs and countries, easily communicated, and clinically/financially supported.
- Continually evaluates and applies business and financial acumen is it pertains to Immunology as a whole as well as per product / TA.
- Effectively leads projects to deliver high-quality work product in a timely fashion to meet deadlines and commitments.
- Ensures that regulatory and compliance guidelines are followed.
