Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop innovative BI and analytics solutions that optimize processes, improve decision-making, and advance strategic objectives.
Engage senior leaders across functions and geographies, identifying business needs and trends and translating them into scalable digital tools.
Lead and coordinate cross‑functional and external teams across multiple locations, ensuring high‑quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery of complex projects.
Ensure consistency, scalability, and quality across digital initiatives, while maintaining strong governance and cost control.
Drive adoption of digital tools by championing data accuracy, quality, and standardized deployment, building credibility and trust across the business.
Align digital finance initiatives with Novartis strategic priorities, embedding data and digital innovation into TechOps Finance processes.
Support and develop team members, fostering a high-performing digital finance team with a strong learning and innovation mindset.
Collaborate closely with DD&IT and Data Science teams to co-create best‑in‑class digital solutions that deliver measurable business value.
Essential Requirements
University degree required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred
10 years of relevant experience in a multinational environment
Proven expertise in business intelligence, analytics, and digital finance transformation
Strong project management experience in complex, matrixed organisations
Proficiency in:
Data architecture and databases (SQL Server, Snowflake)
Visualization tools (Power BI, SAC, QlikSense)
AI/ML solution design
Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish is an advantage
Desirable Requirements
Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector
Previous success as a product owner in digital finance or analytics initiatives
