AbbVie is seeking an accomplished individual to fulfill the role of Data Foundation Manager within our
OUS Commercial division with a special responsibility on Ontology, Analytics solutions and Master Data
Management. In this pivotal position, you will play a significant role in defining and refining the core
principles of AbbVie's Data Strategy, encompassing processes, behaviors, governance and systems, with
a dedicated focus on understanding the specific data requirements of the company, the utilization of such
data, and its alignment with the overarching Data Strategy.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Data Foundation Manager bears the paramount responsibility of ensuring excellence of master and
performance data and the mastery of centralized analytics platforms hitting all commercial business
priorities reported by affiliates, areas and international teams.
Part of role’s responsibility is also to manage and govern the MDM platforms, in particular Product MDM defining universal structure and harmonized master values valid across entire commercial organization
and integrated into downstream systems whenever possible.
The role will lead multiple data related enhancement programs, including betterment of Analytics Platform
which will require coordination with multifunctional teams and contractors globally. The role demands not
only data expertise but also the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively across all
organizational levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert business input, requirements and advice to the Business Technology Solutions (BTS)
department on data modelling and representation to reflect business expectations and visualization
requirements
