The Role

‌This position is responsible for the full lifecycle management of HCP (Healthcare Professional) and HCO (Healthcare Organization) master data products within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector. As the core Product Manager, the individual will integrate industry-specific business logic to construct and optimize standardized data models and validation frameworks, ensuring the authority, uniqueness, and real-time accuracy of high-value industry data. Within the organization, this role bridges business needs and technical execution by designing high-performance data governance tools and integration solutions. The successful candidate will empower pharmaceutical clients to achieve precision marketing and regulatory compliance, serving as a key driver of the commercial value of the company’s core data assets.

What You'll Do
  • Business Requirement Analysis & Data Modeling
  • Master Data Modeling: Design logical data models, including attribute definitions, data types, constraint rules, hierarchies, and entity-relationship (ER) mappings.
  • Standardization: Lead the development of data classification standards, field references, and descriptive templates to ensure unified data definitions across the enterprise.
  • Product Functionality & Lifecycle Management
  • Workflow Design: Define the full lifecycle management of master data, covering request, validation, QC and approval. Also including data quit process.
  • External Data Integration: Plan and integrate third-party authoritative data sources for automated data enrichment and authenticity verification.
  • Core Feature Development: Design logic for data matching, de-duplication, and the definition of "Golden Record" survivorship rules.
  • Data Quality Governance & Monitoring
  • Quality Framework: Establish data quality assessment models to monitor Completeness, Accuracy, Uniqueness, Timeliness, and Consistency.
  • Project Delivery & Documentation
  • Technical Documentation: Produce high-quality product requirement documents, data dictionaries, API specifications, and user manuals.
  • Implementation Support: Collaborate with engineering teams to oversee development and guide the cleansing, merging, and initialization of legacy data.

  • Requirements
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or above, with priority given to majors such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Information Management, and Life Sciences.
  • Work Experience: At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Data Product Manager; experience in master data management, data modeling, or data quality management projects is preferred;
  • Possess solid knowledge and skills in data modeling, be familiar with common data model design methods, and be able to independently complete the design of master data models;
  • Proficiency in SQL; familiarity with relational and non-relational databases; experience with data modeling tools;
  • Have a deep understanding of the data full-lifecycle management process, and master the management methods and tools for key links such as data collection, standardization, and quality inspection;
  • Communication & Collaboration: Possess excellent cross-team and cross-regional communication skills and collaboration awareness, as well as good Chinese and English communication skills.
  • Comprehensive Qualities: Clear logical thinking, strong problem-solving ability, sensitivity to data, and attention to details; possess a strong sense of responsibility and pressure resistance, able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment, and proactively promote product optimization and iteration.
