Kyverna is seeking a highly motivated Director, Medical Science Liaison (MSL), who will engage scientifically with health care providers and medical and scientific experts to support the Medical Affairs Team’s strategic priorities and plans across key countries in Europe and the Middle East. RESPONSIBILITIESIdentify, build, and maintain successful long-term professional relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), clinical investigators, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and academic center(s) research personnelSupport and enhance new and existing partnerships including clinical trials, investigator-initiated studies, and scientific collaborationsConduct balanced, scientifically rigorous, and compliant exchanges with HCPs and KOLs to advance understanding of Kyverna’s clinical programs and therapeutic platformsCollaborate with clinical trial sites to understand barriers to patient identification, enrollment, and screening, and facilitate solutions to optimize study executionGather, analyze, and report field insights including protocol feedback, emerging treatment trends, and competitive intelligence to inform Medical Affairs strategyRepresent Kyverna at scientific meetings, conferences, and advisory boardsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of the disease area, investigational assets, and relevant clinical dataEnsure all activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policiesAbility to travel frequently (potentially up to 50% of the time) and with short or minimal notice including weekends and evening hoursQUALIFICATIONS10+ years of MSL or equivalent field-based medical experience in EuropeAdvanced scientific or medical degree required (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent)Must have experience in cellular therapy and/or autoimmune disease; experience in Myasthenia Gravis or Neuromuscular disorders strongly preferredExceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to convey complex scientific information effectivelySelf-starter with demonstrated skill in independently managing multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal guidance and oversightFluency in English required; proficiency in German strongly preferredStrong team player who can work well with cross-functional team members to achieve corporate and department objectives
