The Director of Operations & Health Coaching at Blueprint is a senior operational leader responsible for end-to-end clinical operations, health coaching execution, and systems integration across the Blueprint care platform.

This role ensures that physicians, health coaches, and care coordinators operate as a single, disciplined system, supported by integrated EHR, CRM, and operational workflows. The Director owns care delivery flow, operational performance, quality assurance, and the scalability of Blueprint’s high-touch precision medicine model.

This is not a purely administrative role. The Director is expected to have clinical literacy and coaching credentials, enabling credible leadership of the Health Coaching function while maintaining tight operational control.

Requirements

Operational Oversight:

  • Own day-to-day clinical and operational execution across Blueprint’s care model
  • Ensure smooth end-to-end workflows across physicians, health coaches, care coordinators, and support teams
  • Optimize resource allocation, scheduling, capacity planning, and service delivery
  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks that impact care quality or experience

Health Coaching Leadership:

  • Provide direct leadership, supervision, and performance management of the Health Coach team
  • Ensure coaching delivery aligns with physician-led care plans and clinical protocols
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of Health Coaches
  • Maintain consistent coaching standards, scope-of-practice discipline, and documentation quality
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the coaching team

Clinical Operations & Quality Assurance:

  • Partner with the CMO to uphold clinical quality, safety, and consistency across care delivery
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance and continuous improvement programs
  • Monitor adherence to clinical workflows, escalation pathways, and documentation standards
  • Support peer review, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Identify operational risks related to patient safety, compliance, or care delivery and mitigate proactively

Technology & Systems Integration:

  • Own the operational integration and optimization of:
    • Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
    • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms
    • Scheduling, messaging, and care coordination tools
  • Ensure systems support efficient clinical workflows, data visibility, and reporting
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to identify operational requirements and system enhancements
  • Drive adoption, training, and consistent use of technology across clinical and operational teams

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Work with Compliance Officer to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, HIPAA, and internal policies
  • Maintain operational readiness for audits, reviews, and regulatory inquiries
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to compliance, data security, and operational continuity
  • Partner with legal, compliance, and clinical leadership as needed

Patient Experience & Service Excellence:

  • Own operational components of the patient experience across the care journey
  • Monitor client satisfaction, responsiveness, and service consistency
  • Drive improvements to onboarding, communication, and care delivery processes
  • Ensure high-touch service standards are maintained as Blueprint scales

Financial & Performance Management:

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning related to clinical operations and health coaching
  • Optimize operational efficiency while maintaining quality and experience standards
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
    • Care delivery efficiency
    • Coach and coordinator utilization
    • Client engagement and retention
    • Quality and service metrics
  • Use data to inform operational decisions and continuous improvement

Strategic Planning & Leadership:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership and the CMO on strategic planning and execution
  • Translate strategic goals into operational plans, timelines, and measurable outcomes
  • Serve as a cross-functional leader bridging clinical, product, operations, and growth teams
  • Contribute to scaling Blueprint’s care model without compromising quality

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; advanced degree preferred
  • Active Health Coaching Certification, preferably:
    • National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC)
    • Or equivalent nationally recognized certification
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience leading teams, preferably within healthcare or digital health
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex workflows across multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong understanding of clinical operations, care delivery, and patient experience
  • Experience overseeing EHR and CRM systems and driving operational adoption
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in concierge medicine, telemedicine, or precision/longevity healthcare
  • Prior responsibility for health coaching or allied health teams
  • Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies and KPI-driven operations
  • Experience working in fast-scaling healthcare or technology-enabled care models

  • Not a purely administrative or facilities-based operations role
  • Not a single-system IT role without operational ownership
  • Not a sales or marketing leadership position
