Major accountabilities:
We are looking for a highly motivated analytical laboratory expert with the focus on development and optimization of analytical methods to control and monitor chemical processes and products.
He/she plans and performs development of analytical methods in a non-GMP environment and prepares new analytical methods for transfer to GMP environment.
In this you will be utilizing a broad range of analytical techniques to solve challenging separation and detection tasks.
Documentation and reporting of data also represents a key responsibility.
Further maintenance of lab, equipment and infrastructure is an important responsibility in this role ensuring business continuity and quality of work.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Minimum requirement is successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship (e.g. Laborant Chemie/ Analytik EFZ or equivalent with a focus on analytics).
Position is also open to applicants with BSc. or MSc.
Experience:
In addition the ideal candidate would have the following professional experiences:
5-10 years of experience in a chemical development requirement is highly desired
Excellent knowledge of relevant analytical techniques is a key criterion (including HPLC/UHPLC hyphenated with DAD/MS detection, SEC, AEX, IC, etc.)
Specialized knowledge in the use of automated separation development (e.g. Autochrome) for highly complex separation problems is an important selection criterion
Basic knowledge of software and computer tools such as Office package, chromatography data-evaluation software (e.g. Chromeleon) is desirable
Independent and self-motivated workstyle, excellent communication and collaboration skills is important
Good documentation skills required during execution of experiments and documentation of results are expected
Languages :
Adequate knowledge of English language is required (oral and written), German and other language skills are beneficial.
