The Head of eCommerce Experience is responsible for owning
Viome.com’s performance
across all digital storefronts and conversion points. This role sits at the intersection of product,
marketing, and technology — combining expertise in UX, merchandising, CRO, and platform
operations to deliver a frictionless and personalized shopping experience that drives revenue
growth, retention, and lifetime value.
You will lead the strategy and execution of site experience, conversion optimization, and
platform performance, partnering cross-functionally to turn Viome’s science into a world-class
eCommerce experience.
Site Experience & MerchandisingOwn Viome.com’s homepage, product detail pages (PDPs), bundles, offers, and conversion flows.Define and execute product merchandising, pricing, promotions, and offer strategies to optimize AOV and subscription attach rate.Partner with Marketing and Product to align content, campaigns, and category storytelling with brand and growth goals.Lead cross-sell and up-sell strategy across PDPs, cart, and post-purchase.Maintain site taxonomy and ensure mobile-first, conversion-optimized design.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)Lead continuous A/B testing, UX experimentation, and funnel optimization to improve conversion and retention metrics.Define the customer journey from acquisition through checkout and subscription renewal, identifying friction points and opportunities.Own Viome’s personalization roadmap — integrating behavioral, biological, and purchase data into tailored onsite experiences.Partner with Analytics to measure impact, report on funnel performance, and drive data-backed decision-making.
Platform Operations & PerformanceOwn Viome’s eCommerce infrastructure, including Shopify, Loop, Klaviyo, GA4, Tag Manager, and integrated martech tools.Ensure platform reliability, technical SEO, and site speed performance meet best-in- class standards.Manage relationships with platform vendors, developers, and technical partners.Oversee product feed accuracy, tagging, pixel management, and analytics implementation.Collaborate with Operations on subscription fulfillment, order accuracy, and integration between eCommerce and backend systems.
Collaboration & LeadershipPartner closely with the Marketing team on campaign alignment, traffic flow, and conversion feedback loops.Collaborate with CX to improve post-purchase journeys, subscriptions, and retention levers.Partner with Product on digital experience innovation, including app-to-site and test-to-cart integration.Build and mentor a high-performing eCommerce team spanning site operations,CRO/UX, and merchandising.Success MetricsSite Conversion RateAverage Order Value (AOV)Subscription Attach RateSite Speed & UptimeGross Revenue from Viome.com
In the first year, you will:
Redesign Viome.com’s core journey to improve conversion and subscription by 15–20%.Launch an ongoing CRO and personalization testing program.Improve site speed and SEO performance to top-quartile benchmarks.Establish a unified analytics and reporting framework for site experience.Build the foundation for scalable eCommerce growth across Viome.comAt Viome, you’ll work alongside scientists, technologists, and innovators reimagining how we
