The Head of Strategy & Solutions (Marketing), is a senior leader responsible for shaping the strategic direction, market positioning, and commercial growth of Roche Diagnostics Australia (RDA). As a member of the RDA Leadership Team, you will lead the Strategy & Solutions community in translating Roche’s global innovation pipeline and portfolio into impactful solutions for the Australian healthcare system. Working closely with Commercial, Medical, and Service teams, you will connect strategy to execution to accelerate the launch and adoption of innovative diagnostics and deliver sustainable business growth.
What you will be working on:
As the Head of Strategy & Solutions (Marketing), you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Setting the strategic direction for RDA’s portfolio and solutions strategy to drive market differentiation and sustainable growth.
Leading commercial strategy and execution to translate Roche’s global innovation pipeline into impactful solutions for the Australian healthcare system.
Owning financial performance for the portfolio, ensuring sales, revenue, and profitability targets are achieved or exceeded.
Developing and executing integrated marketing and go-to-market strategies to accelerate adoption of Roche’s diagnostics portfolio across multiple disease areas and testing segments.
Leading new product launches and portfolio expansion initiatives to ensure successful market entry and rapid adoption of high-medical-value innovations.
Overseeing portfolio lifecycle management to sustain the relevance, competitiveness, and growth of existing diagnostic products and solutions.
Identifying emerging market opportunities, trends, and challenges to position RDA for long-term success.
Leveraging market insights, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions and drive innovation.
Building and leading a high-performing Strategy & Solutions organization that delivers strategic impact and strong commercial outcomes.
Championing cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, Medical, Customer Experience, and Service teams to deliver integrated customer solutions.
Strengthening relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, including laboratory networks, clinicians, health systems, and policymakers.
Partnering with regional and global teams to ensure Australia contributes meaningfully to Roche’s global innovation agenda and healthcare impact.
Who You Are:
You are a strategic leader with over 10 years of progressive experience in marketing, strategy, or commercial roles, ideally within the healthcare or medical device sectors.
You bring a proven track record of leading portfolio strategies and successful product launches within complex, regulated environments.
You are an inspiring people leader who is passionate about coaching, empowering others, and building a strong talent pipeline.
You possess strong commercial and financial acumen, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and business growth drivers.
You are an exceptional communicator who can influence and build alignment across senior internal and external stakeholders.
You have a forward-thinking mindset and the ability to navigate change while anticipating emerging trends in diagnostics.
You thrive in matrix organizations and enjoy working collaboratively across diverse teams to drive execution.
