As the global diagnostic partner of choice, we deliver diagnostic confidence through a broad menu of high medical value assays across Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and In Situ hybridization (ISH), PCR and NGS. We are a global partner of choice in Oncology, including tissue diagnostics, as well as Neurology & Cardiology. Roche PHCS brings unmatched value as a collaborative partner to pharmaceutical organizations developing treatments across critical areas of highest unmet medical need.

The Opportunity:

As an International Product Manager (IPM) within the PHCS Lifecycle Team, you are the primary driver of our mission. You sit at the critical intersection of diagnostics and therapeutics, transforming complex technology into clinical reality.

Your primary responsibility is to drive the global commercialization of our Companion Diagnostics (CDx) portfolio related to Tissue Diagnostics in direct partnership with pharmaceutical customers. Beyond the core product management of the Tissue Diagnostic portfolio, you will act as a strategic leader, driving initiatives that grow the PHCS organization and innovative pipeline, and support the broader Roche Diagnostics network.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • External Pharmaceutical Partnering: Act as the dedicated commercial lead for pharmaceutical partners. Co-create and align CDx launch plans with drug therapy timelines to ensure seamless "day-one" testing readiness.

  • Country & Regional Collaboration: Partner with Roche Diagnostics regional and country stakeholders to drive successful CDx pull-through. You will help markets overcome barriers to adoption, deliver pharmaceutical partner objectives and ultimately drive precision medicine innovation.

  • Commercial Strategy Leader: Drive the commercial strategy for IHC-based companion diagnostics, ensuring our value proposition resonates with pathologists, laboratory managers, and pharma stakeholders.

  • End-to-End Product Lifecycle Management: Provide technical and strategic guidance throughout early assay development and lead commercial product delivery from concept to commercialization. Responsible for on-market product strategy, supply topics, quality issues, incorporating global regulatory updates, label expansion and end-of-life product management.

  • PHCS Strategy Leadership: Lead design and execution of our overarching strategy in collaboration with PHCS leadership and senior stakeholders. Analyze global market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to define long-term strategies.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Drive high-impact growth projects that define how Roche Diagnostics delivers value beyond the individual test, collaborating closely with lifecycle teams and stakeholders across the organization.

Who You Are:

Candidates should exhibit a strong track record in product commercialization, strategic design and execution alongside exceptional communication skills. You should demonstrate strong technical understanding of integrated diagnostic technologies and proven ability to develop and maintain strong partnerships with customers and stakeholders.

  • Experience: University degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in product management or marketing, business development or commercial strategy in a Diagnostic, Pharmaceutical or Healthcare related field. Experience in CDx and Digital Diagnostic solutions is also highly preferred.

  • Commercial & Strategic Acumen: A track record of consistently driving commercial delivery, in addition to designing senior-level strategic initiatives across global organizations.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively within a complex global matrix environment.

  • Customer and Partner Management: Proven ability to manage high-stakes partnerships & customer relationships.
