The Role
Part of the global legal team, you will act as Legal Assistant, Contracts in China and also support other Asia regions. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with high integrity and will be able to prioritize and manage multiple competing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining an upbeat and customer-focused attitude. You will also enjoy working collaboratively with other team members both inside and outside the Legal team and are able to communicate effectively at all levels.
What You’ll Do
Maintain legal filing and corporate secretarial affairs to ensure business administration and regulatory alignment
Assist in monitoring the latest laws, regulations and industry policies to ensure business compliance
Conduct legal research and assessments; provide practical advice to mitigate commercial exposure
Review/identify issues in commercial contracts
Support other ad-hoc legal tasks as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above
1-2 years of experience in an in-house legal department or a law firm
Fluent in English and Mandarin
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Detail-oriented, reliable and a strong team player
