Job Description

About us

At Pomelo Care, we are redefining the healthcare journey for women and children. As the leading virtual medical practice in our field, we provide a continuous circle of support—from the first steps of family building and the complexities of pregnancy to the nuances of postpartum, pediatric, and midlife care. We aren't just a clinic; we are a multidisciplinary engine of clinicians, engineers, and problem-solvers dedicated to closing the gaps in traditional care. By leveraging a high-touch, technology-driven platform, we identify risks early and deliver deeply personalized, 24/7 virtual care. We are here to prove that better data and patient-centered care lead to better outcomes, raising the standard of care for families nationwide.

Role Description

As the Manager of Patient Enrollment Marketing on the Lifecycle Marketing team, you will be the primary architect and engine behind our patient growth strategy. This is a "full-stack" marketing role: you will be responsible for both the high-level strategy (designing the B2B2C enrollment marketing plans & playbooks) and the technical execution (building the multi-channel journeys, configuring the marketing technology, launching, and optimizing the campaigns).

Your mission is to bridge the gap between our B2B partners (employers/insurers) and their members, creating seamless, high-conversion pathways that turn "eligible members" into "active patients." The ideal candidate will have a creative mind ready to build flexible, strategic marketing plans that are rooted in research and data, extensive experience in using email, direct mail, web, and SMS to drive immediate action, a deep understanding of how to optimize marketing technology tools to deliver a high-volume of enrollment campaigns flawlessly, and excellent communication skills to work cross-functionally both internally and externally with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Playbook Development: Design comprehensive B2B2C enrollment marketing strategies tailored to specific partner cohorts. You will define how we reach patients, what the messaging hierarchy looks like, and which channels will drive the highest conversion.
  • End-to-End Execution: You don't just hand off a brief; you build the engine. You will personally architect, build, and deploy automated multi-channel journeys (Email, SMS, Direct Mail, Web) within our marketing automation platform(s).
  • MarTech Optimization: Act as the power-user and strategist for our marketing technology stack. You will configure data triggers, manage audience segmentation within the ESP, and ensure our tools are synced to deliver personalized 1:1 experiences at scale.
  • Funnel Optimization: Own the enrollment math. You will Define and prioritize A/B and multivariate tests in partnership with Outreach, Data Science, Product, and Marketing teams to continuously optimize the enrollment funnel, improving click-to-enroll rates and lead conversion while decreasing CAC.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Marketing, Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure marketing plans align with partner contracts, while collaborating with Data Science to build performance dashboards that prove ROI.
  • Regulatory Stewardship: Ensure all enrollment tactics are flawlessly executed within the guardrails of HIPAA, TCPA, and CAN-SPAM.

Who You Are:

  • The B2B2C Enrollment Expert: You have 4+ years of experience specifically in enrollment marketing, patient acquisition, or B2B2C growth. You understand the unique challenge of marketing to an audience provided by a third-party partner.
  • A "Strategic Doer": You are equally comfortable creating and presenting a 6-month growth roadmap to executives as you are troubleshooting a Liquid logic string or a webhook in a journey builder.
  • A Resourceful Self-Starter: You are scrappy and thrive in fast-paced environments where the goal is rapid scale. You have a high degree of autonomy and are excited to dive into the technical details to move the needle on growth.
  • MarTech Power User: You have deep, hands-on experience with enterprise-grade automation tools (e.g., Braze, Iterable, or Adobe Journey Optimizer). You understand data schemas and how to leverage CDP data to trigger real-time campaigns.
  • Exceptional Communicator: You can translate complex technical workflows into clear business outcomes for stakeholders and write compelling, conversion-oriented marketing plans that resonate with prospective patients.
  • Industry Background: Strong preference for candidates coming from HealthTech, Digital Health, Healthcare, or high-growth B2B2C startups. You understand the nuances of the healthcare patient journey.

Technical Requirements:

  • Proven track record of managing $1M+ lead volume or high-scale enrollment funnels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Marketing Automation Platforms (Certification preferred).
  • Solid understanding of HTML/CSS for email and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.).
  • Experience navigating healthcare compliance (HIPAA) in a marketing context is a significant plus.
