Responsible for the development and execution of the Italy and Greece Business marketing plan for applicable franchise/category. Works with regional multi-functional teams to envision, develop and deploy promotional plans, tactics and projects. Work with EUCAN Area team to tailor IMCO plans to the local affiliate needs. Manages Country promotional budget.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Meeting Product Sales and Market Share Objectives
- Participate in the setting of annual sales targets and on-going forecasts ensuring achievement of these targets.
- Ensure Regional and in-country promotional budgets are spent to maximum effect and deliver commercial impact to achieve sales and profit objectives.
- Category Planning and Management
- Work with the General Manager and LT on 5 year strategic plan and develop marketing strategy, core campaign and tactics to be implemented in the annual marketing plan.
- Work with Product Managers to ensure plans will meet market needs and with Market Research to ensure strategy will meet market needs.
- Work with Pricing Specialist to ensure optimum pricing for products throughout lifecycle in all markets.
- Ensure launch preparations are completed for new product introductions.
- Work with global marketing to ensure country needs are understood and supported.
- Execute Marketing Strategy
- Contribute to development of Italy Greece business plan.
- Ensure execution of regional campaigns and activities maximizing share growth for the brands.
- Work with KOLs and strategic communication team to organize regional forums for delivery of product message.
- Adapt global marketing materials and develop own local materials on an annual basis.
- Execute materials in marketing forums and media seeking feedback on effectiveness to amend as appropriate.
- Ensure Product Managers translate and execute promotional material for country in line with brand / product communication plan.
- Develop guidelines for local Marketing Coordinators on KOL programs etc. and monitor effectiveness of local promotional materials.
- Ensure pre-marketing and launch tactics are optimized for new products.
- Work with Medical Affairs and strategic communication groups to plan coordinated approaches to overall strategy.
