As a Medical Science Partner - Ophthalmology you will play a meaningful role in demonstrating your scientific expertise to integrate these solutions into the healthcare system for both present and future needs.

  • You are engaging with stakeholders with a focus on scientific/medical  exchange on the latest scientific advancements acting as a trusted partner

  • You are collecting, analyzing, sharing and integrating  insights into the integrated strategy

  • You are building the external scientific communication strategy as part of an integrated omnichannel approach and executing with impact

  • You are contributing to the regional access strategy 

  • You are building and maintaining deep knowledge of product, disease and therapeutic (PDK) knowledge of Roche assets and the competitive landscape 

  • You are involved and leading evidence generation projects

  • You are collaborating cross functionally collaboration with a focus on field engagement that leverages the broader network 

  • You may contribute to early pipeline strategic planning at both a local and global level

  • You may be accountable for the outcomes and measures in relation to the medical communication strategies as part of an overall omnichannel approach

  • You ensure the highest ethical, scientific and quality standards, patients’ safety and safeguarding Roche’s reputation

Who you are:

  • University Degree in a Science Based Program (PhD, MSc, MD, PharmD, Biomedical, Allied Health) and at least 3-5+ years of relevant experience in life sciences or health care system sector

  • You have a good understanding of the healthcare system environment, 

  • You have a robust understanding of pharmaceutical drug development, medical affairs strategies and relevant processes (eg. GCP, PV, Industry Codes & Regulations)

  • You have the ability to travel depending on the business need. May vary from 15 to 30%. (Overnight travel - frequent)

Preferred: 

  • Bilingualism (English/French) is a key asset for this role.

Relocation benefits are not available for this position.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Mississauga is 136,936.00 and 179,728.50 of hiring range. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors as determined by the company.
