Oncology Medical Scientific Liaison
 

You will join GSK as a field-based medical science professional focused on oncology in Türkiye. You will build trusted scientific relationships with clinicians and researchers, share balanced clinical evidence, and gather insights to shape medical strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support clinical research and improve patient care. We value clear communication, ethical behaviour, curiosity, and collaboration. Responsibilities:

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

- Build and maintain trusted, ethical scientific relationships with oncology healthcare professionals across Türkiye.

- Deliver clear, balanced scientific information and education to clinicians, researchers, and multidisciplinary teams.

- Collect and report clinical insights from the field to inform local and global medical strategy.

- Identify potential investigators and clinical sites and support trial feasibility, start-up, and recruitment activities.

- Collaborate with medical, clinical operations and commercial colleagues to align plans and support scientific initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies, including timely safety reporting.

Basic Qualification

We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals

- University degree in Medicine (MD), Pharmacy, or a relevant advanced scientific degree.

- Clinical or industry experience in oncology or a closely related therapeutic area.

- Proven experience engaging healthcare professionals in scientific or educational settings.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Turkish and good command of English.

- Proficiency with common office software and virtual communication tools.

- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical ethics, governance and compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus

- Prior experience as a Medical Scientific Liaison or in a similar field medical role.

- Direct involvement with clinical trials, investigator-initiated studies, or site selection.

- Knowledge of the Turkish healthcare system and oncology care pathways.

- Experience presenting at scientific meetings or leading educational workshops.

- Skill in translating complex clinical data into clear messages for diverse audiences.

- Proven ability to work collaboratively with medical, commercial and clinical operations teams.

Work Model

- This role is field-based with a hybrid approach. You will meet healthcare professionals in person across Türkiye and use remote time for planning and collaboration.

- Regular travel across the country is required.
