Job Purpose
You will manage employee relations work across Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa & CIS region, delivering trusted ER advice, managing HR-led investigations, guiding leaders on fair, consistent people decisions, and partnering with HR, Legal, Compliance and business leaders. Key Responsibilities
- Provide pragmatic, timely ER advice to leaders, managers and HR partners across multiple countries and cultures.
- Coach managers to build capability and reduce repeat issues; escalate when appropriate.
- Lead and manage complex or high-risk HR-led investigations, ensuring confidentiality, legal compliance and sound outcomes, including interviews, evidence review and case documentation.
- Advise and support leaders, managers on performance, conduct related issues, and grievance cases to drive fair, consistent decisions.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance and business stakeholders to evaluate risk and shape policy interpretation.
- Analyze ER case data to identify trends and recommend preventive actions and policy improvements.
- Design and implement scalable ER approaches and tools to improve consistency across the region.
Education, Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, law or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Employee Relations, HR Investigations, Audit, Compliance, HR Business Partnering, HR Generalist functions, or related HR roles.
- Leadership or people‑management experience is a plus.
- Proven experience managing complex investigations and delivering defensible outcomes.
- Strong judgment, risk-awareness and ability to balance legal/compliance considerations with business needs.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and local labor practices across the region.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience advising managers at different levels.
- Significant ER experience in a multi-country, matrixed organization (regional remit preferred).
- Experience developing or implementing people policies and procedures.
- Formal training in investigation techniques, mediation or conflict resolution.
- Ability to analyze ER data and translate insights into practical recommendations.
- Experience coaching managers and delivering training sessions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Advantageous: Proficiency in one or more of Urdu, French, Arabic or Russian.
