The Sr. Brand Manager in Allergan Aesthetics (an AbbVie Company) will be responsible for leading the strategic and operational management of one or more key brands within the aesthetics portfolio. This role combines scientific insight, business acumen, and cross-functional leadership to drive market growth, strengthen brand equity, and ensure flawless execution across medical, digital, and commercial channels.
The ideal candidate is a results-oriented leader who can translate complex market dynamics into actionable strategies, inspire multidisciplinary teams, and position the company as a benchmark in innovation and excellence in aesthetics.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Brand Leadership
- Lead the strategic planning process (175 Brand Plan) for assigned brands, defining vision, purpose, positioning, and long-term objectives.
- Translate market insights and competitive dynamics into actionable brand strategies.
- Define clear brand equity drivers and ensure all initiatives strengthen the company’s leadership in aesthetics.
- Partner with global (IMCO) and regional teams (LATAM) to localize strategies while maintaining alignment with corporate priorities.
Annual Business & Marketing Planning
- Develop and execute annual marketing plans, including portfolio strategy, brand KPIs, launch calendar, and promotional priorities.
- Prepare and present business cases, forecasts, and brand performance reviews to senior management.
- Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to ensure forecast accuracy, profitability, and inventory planning.
- Define and manage the DME (budget), ensuring maximum ROI and alignment with strategic priorities
Channel Strategy
- Design and implement integrated marketing initiatives for different customer segments – HCPs, clinics, franchises and customer across multiple channels according regulatory scenario.
- Adapt messaging and content for different customer segments — HCPs, clinics, franchises, and end consumers.
- Partner with the Experience & Channel team to develop in-clinic programs, events, and omnichannel activations.
- Design and implement marketing campaigns across professional, digital, and DTC channels
Stakeholder & Customer Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Allergan Aesthetics Faculty and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and strategic customers.
- Support peer-to-peer (P2P) initiatives, scientific events, and educational programs to reinforce brand trust and advocacy.
- Work closely with the Commercial and AMI (Allergan Medical Institute) team to develop customized account plans for top customers.
Data-Driven Insights & Performance Management
- Track and analyze brand performance metrics, including Net Sales, units, market share, price promotions, and marketing initiatives.
- Drive post-campaign ROI analyses and continuously optimize investments based on performance and insights.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead the Cross-functional Brand Team to ensure that the entire company is following the brand strategic pln and priorities.
- Partner mainly with AMI (Allergan Medical Institute) Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance and Training to ensure all initiatives are compliant, scientifically robust, and customer-centric.
- Align with Sales Leadership to define field priorities, incentives, and tools to enhance in-field execution.
- Work closely with LATAM and IMCO teams to exchange best practices and drive regional synergies.
- Act as a role model of excellence, agility, and innovation within the marketing organization.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to talent development initiatives.
