Job Purpose
The Global Rewards Service Head is accountable for the global deployment of impactful Rewards processes and services across GSK. This role drives excellence by leading a high-performing team of Compensation & Benefits (C&B) experts globally, ensuring the continuous enhancement of skills and capabilities to meet evolving business needs. The Global Rewards Service Head will foster stronger partnerships with Center of Excellence (COEs), Global Experience owner (GXO)and key stakeholders to deliver transformative Rewards strategies that align with GSK's ambitious goals and priorities
The role will:
- Provide expert Rewards advice and guidance globally, as appropriate, to benchmark Reward offerings and implement new initiatives or schemes e.g. pensions, car plans, sales incentive plans etc.
- Lead global projects and process improvements, to ensure that strategic and operational Reward Service is connected and aligned and helping to build a future ready reward strategy
- Drive a robust governance mindset across all Reward processes globally to ensure consistency. Proactively monitor and track performance, and safeguard GSK’s license to operate through effective risk management and compliance excellence.
- Focus on forward looking solutions that improve the reward value proposition for the organization and help create the next level of change and innovation
- Will be responsible for budgets and spends, related to Reward Services for approx. 75,000 Biopharma employees (e.g. Benchmarking spends, local Benefits provisions and vendor spend etc.)
- Collaborate with Reward COE and PS leadership to stabilize operations, bring in innovations towards solutions, ways of working, a continuous simplification mindset and an outside in view to reward practices

- Global Processes accountability such as Annual Performance & Reward cycle (including the annual market ranges and salary budget setting process), and Job Evaluation
- Supporting in‑country benefits in compliance with local laws and global guidelines (e.g., pensions, employee insurance, workplace policies).
- Vendor contract management, performance reviews ensuring SLAs are met and approvals for change in Vendors.
- Partner with different Reward consultants / Reward forums for market data and insights. Drive competitive practices in partnership with COEs.
- Responsible for building an engagement model, that ensures quality of service, effectiveness incl. adherence to reward governance frameworks and minimum standards across the globe including support/approve Reward services
- Monitoring performance and customer experience including identifying where global processes adjustments or simplification may be required (working closely with the Global Process Owner (GPO), Global Experience Owner (GXO) and Systems Owners). Build a strong relationship with COEs to work towards consistent global experience for employees and stakeholders
- Lead a team of diverse professionals around the globe with clear accountabilities of delivery and performance covering including Global Benchmarking, Global Reward Partners, P4P, Mobility and Compensation and Benefits Operations.
- Setting team structure, KPIs, SLAs and managing performance delivery globally
Basic qualifications required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Economics, Finance, or related field (required)
- Master’s degree or advanced qualification in HR/Reward/Business desirable
- Total 18+ years out of which 12+ years’ progressive experience in Compensation & Benefits / Global Rewards, preferably within large multinational organisations
- 6+ years’ experience leading global or regional Rewards teams and programmes
- Proven track record delivering large-scale global projects/processes and operating across 50+ countries or equivalent complexity
- Strong influencing and partnership skills with COEs, HR leaders, business leaders and external vendors/consultants
- Demonstrated ability to build, coach and scale high-performing, diverse teams and develop capability across regions
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Global Remuneration Professional (GRP), CIPD, SHRM-SCP or equivalent
The annual base salary in Poland for new hires in this position ranges from PLN 0 to PLN 0 gross, taking into account a number of factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. Depending on the role and internal policies, the position may also be eligible for a bonus (if applicable and based on defined, non-discretionary criteria) and/or awards for exceptional performance (granted at the employer’s discretion). All statutory benefits will be maintained in accordance with Polish law. Other benefits may also be offered, which may include private healthcare, additional paid days off, life insurance, private pension plan and fully paid parental leave & care of family member leave.
