Role Summary

We seek a Python full-stack engineer with deep React expertise to design and build robust, scalable gRPC and REST APIs for Novasign Studio. You’ll work on core systems, focusing on Python-based APIs, data pipelines, and modern React interfaces while applying strong OOP principles and collaborating with our engineering and consulting teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build microservices and APIs using Python (FastAPI, gRPC, SQLModel/SQLAlchemy) and React (Next.js)
• Develop scalable data pipelines, ETL, and analytics services
• Design and document gRPC/REST APIs (Swagger/OpenAPI)
• Apply best practices: Modular Design, OOP, SOLID, DRY, KISS, Composition, Inheritance
• Collaborate in cross-team discussions and learn bioprocessing concepts
• Embrace new tools and responsible AI-assisted development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years Python & React (JavaScript/TypeScript)
• gRPC, Protocol Buffers, FastAPI, SQLModel/SQLAlchemy
• Event-Driven Architecture (RabbitMQ/Kafka)
• CSS frameworks (Material UI, Bootstrap, Tailwind)
• OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, RBAC
• Docker, Ubuntu, Kubernetes basics
• Bash/CLI, Git, Agile/Scrum
• Ensure code quality: CI/CD, Git workflows, code reviews, and comprehensive testing (unit, integration, functional) using pytest, pytest-asyncio, Jest, React-Testing-Library, Playwright
• Excellent English communication
• Nice to have Kubernetes tools (Tilt, k3d, k9s), AWS, GCP, Azure experience
• Nice to have experience with Ray, Pandas, PySpark, Great Expectations, or Airflow
• Nice to have previous experience with C#
