We are seeking a detail-oriented, systems-driven Inventory Control & Supply Planning Specialist to own inventory accuracy, material planning, and master data integrity. This role blends hands-on warehouse execution with analytical supply planning and ERP system ownership, ensuring materials are available to support production while maintaining world-class data accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials, components, and lab supplies

  • Execute cycle counts, audits, and full inventory reconciliations with high accuracy

  • Perform kitting, pick/pack, and material staging to support production and fulfillment

  • Maintain a clean, organized, compliant, and audit-ready warehouse (GMP/ISO standards)

  • Investigate, resolve, and prevent inventory discrepancies

  • Own material planning in NetSuite, including demand signals, supply alignment, and execution

  • Establish and manage reorder points, safety stock levels, and replenishment strategies

  • Partner with procurement and operations to ensure on-time material availability

  • Monitor inventory levels, shortages, and excess; proactively mitigate risks to production

  • Support supplier coordination and inbound visibility to improve material flow

  • Execute and manage inventory transactions in NetSuite (receipts, transfers, adjustments, item setup)

  • Maintain and govern item master data, including. item descriptions and classifications, units of measure and conversions, BOM-related attributes and location assignments

  • Ensure data integrity across planning, purchasing, and inventory modules

  • Utilize NetSuite’s Material Requirements Planning (MRP) functionality to support planning decisions

  • Generate, analyze, and distribute inventory and planning reports

  • Lead improvements in labeling, location management, and receiving workflows

  • Support implementation of RFID, barcode systems, and inventory automation tools

  • Develop and document SOPs for inventory control and planning processes

  • Apply lean principles (5S, Kaizen) to drive operational efficiency

  • Identify system and process gaps; implement scalable solutions

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in inventory control, supply planning, or warehouse operations in biotech, life sciences, med tech, or regulated environments

  • Strong hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP, including:

  • Inventory management

  • Material planning / MRP

  • Master data governance

  • Proven ability to manage both physical inventory operations and system-based planning

  • Deep understanding of inventory control methodologies (cycle counting, ABC analysis)

  • Experience managing item master data and ERP data accuracy

  • Exposure to supply planning concepts (forecasting, safety stock, replenishment)

  • Familiarity with RFID, barcoding, or inventory tracking technologies

  • Experience in GMP, ISO, or FDA-regulated environments

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally

  • APIC Certification is a plus
