Job Description

We’re seeking a Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations to drive enterprise-level priorities and shape the trajectory of Talkiatry’s growth.

This role sits at the center of strategy, analytics, and execution — leading the initiatives that most directly impact our clinicians, patients, and long-term performance. You will operate as a thought partner to senior leadership, owning high-stakes, cross-functional workstreams from problem definition through execution and measurable impact.

As a Senior Manager, you won’t just analyze or execute, you will define what matters. You will proactively identify opportunities, influence company priorities, and build scalable systems that improve how Talkiatry operates.

You will regularly present to executive leadership, guide resourcing and investment decisions, and help translate long-term strategy into operational reality.

About Talkiatry:
Talkiatry transforms psychiatry with accessible, human, and responsible care. We’re a national mental health practice co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist to solve the problems both groups face in accessing and providing the highest quality treatment.

60% of adults in the U.S. with a diagnosable mental illness go untreated every year because care is inaccessible, while 45% of clinicians are out of network with insurers because reimbursement rates are low, and paperwork is unduly burdensome.   With innovative technology and a human-centered philosophy, we provide patients with the care they need—and allow psychiatrists to focus on why they got into medicine.

You will:
  • Drive growth and performance: Identify, size, and prioritize the highest-leverage opportunities to improve Talkiatry’s performance — from supply and demand expansion to segmentation strategy, clinician productivity, and patient experience. Frame ambiguous problems and influence company-level decisions through rigorous analysis.
  • Own initiatives end-to-end: Define complex problems, develop structured recommendations, and deliver measurable outcomes across multi-quarter workstreams. Establish KPIs, align stakeholders, and ensure durable operational impact — not just one-time insights.
  • Lead cross-functional strategy execution: Manage high-visibility initiatives that cut across Clinical, Operations, Marketing, and Product. Navigate competing priorities, drive alignment among senior stakeholders, and ensure timely execution against company goals.
  • Turn data into action: Analyze sophisticated datasets, build forecasting and performance models, and translate insights into clear executive-level recommendations. Elevate analytical rigor and embed data-driven decision-making across teams.
  • Shape long-term strategy and planning: Partner with leadership on quarterly and annual planning cycles. Define success metrics, develop dashboards, support scenario modeling, and provide insight into performance trends that inform investment and resourcing decisions.

  • You have:
  • 4-8+ years of experience in strategy, operations, analytics, consulting, investment banking, or high-growth technology environments.
  • Advanced experience developing analytical solutions using SQL (required) and data visualization or programming tools such as Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or Google Sheets.
  • Strong financial and operational modeling capabilities, including forecasting, capacity planning, and scenario analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with executive visibility and measurable business impact.
  • Exceptional ability to turn large, complex datasets into clear insights, applying strong business judgment even in ambiguous or unfamiliar domains.
  • Outstanding communication skills, able to translate sophisticated analysis into structured, decision-oriented narratives for senior stakeholders.
  • Awareness of emerging trends in technology, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Talkiatry participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S. only after a job offer is accepted and Form I-9 is completed. For more information on E-Verify, please visit the following: EVerify Participation & IER Right to Work.

At Talkiatry, we are an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace and candidate experience. We strive to create an environment where everyone has a sense of belonging and purpose, and where we learn from the unique experiences of those around us.

We encourage all qualified candidates to apply regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital or family status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, pregnancy or caregiver status, veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
