Purpose

This position is responsible for consulting with employees, people leaders and stakeholders in compliance with regulatory requirements, and AbbVie’s policies and procedures to assist employees requesting workplace accommodations to enable them to perform their jobs.

Responsibilities

• Accommodation case management, handling matters ranging in complexity.  Management includes analysis, timely and comprehensive recommendations on a case-by-case basis, utilizing the interactive process and engaging with applicable stakeholders.
• Responsible for compliance with applicable HR and accommodation related regulatory requirements, as well as AbbVie’s policies and procedures
• Provides professional expert consultative and problem-solving services to managers, employees and other stakeholders
• Effectively and accurately creates and manages case-related data and documentation, in compliance with AbbVie’s policies and procedures
• Administrative and project related responsibilities in support of role and departmental objectives.
