The Opportunity
We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer to be a core member of our Product Engineering team—writing code every day while driving architecture decisions, mentoring senior engineers, and partnering with Product and Clinical teams to build software that directly improves patient outcomes.
What You'll DoOwn and drive architecture decisions across our stack, setting patterns the whole team builds onLead complex, ambiguous product challenges end-to-end—from technical design through shipping to end usersMentor other engineers through code reviews, design feedback, and pairingPartner with Product, Design, and Clinical teams to translate clinical workflows into scalable solutionsIdentify and drive improvements to technical debt, reliability, and developer experienceChampion AI tools in your daily workflow and help establish team-wide best practicesOur tech stack: TypeScript, Node.js, React, Postgres, AWS, ECSRequirements8+ years of full-stack engineering experience shipping complex features in production systemsDemonstrated track record leading technical initiatives that span multiple teams or systemsExtensive experience with 0-1 buildsProficient with AI coding tools as part of daily developmentExperience at early-staged venture-backed startups (e.g. seed through Series C stage)Strong communicator who can align stakeholders around technical decisionsPassion for improving mental healthcareSome candidates may see the list above and feel discouraged because they don't match all the items.
