This role is best suited for an entrepreneurial partnership leader with deep experience in the employee benefits ecosystem, particularly with HCM and benefits technology platforms, who thrives in a highly autonomous, outcome-driven environment. This is a full-time, remote role with occasional travel for partner meetings and team events.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identify, source, and close net-new channel distribution partners within the employee benefits ecosystem, with a focus on HCM and benefits technology platforms. 
  • Own the end-to-end partnership development process, including outbound prospecting, executive discovery, partnership scoping, negotiation, and contracting.
  • Build and maintain a qualified partnership pipeline aligned with Spring Health’s distribution strategy and growth objectives.
  • Lead early partnership launches in close collaboration with Product, Legal, Sales, Marketing, and Implementation to ensure scalable, repeatable execution.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify emerging partnership opportunities and inform prioritization.
  • Represent Spring Health with senior partner stakeholders and at key industry events.

What success looks like:

  • Consistently meet or exceed annual partnership targets and pipeline goals.
  • Close high-impact channel distribution partnerships that materially contribute to Spring Health’s employer distribution and growth goals.
  • Establish Spring Health as a preferred mental health partner within the HCM and benefits technology ecosystem.
  • Operate as a trusted senior individual contributor who drives results independently while maintaining strong alignment with leadership and cross-functional teams.

What we expect from you:  

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, channel partnerships, or business development within the employee benefits ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing, negotiating, and closing net-new partnerships with HCMs and/or benefits technology platforms.
  • Proven ability to operate as a senior individual contributor, owning complex, multi-stakeholder deals end to end.
  • Experience working with or selling through brokers, consultants, or benefits administrators strongly preferred.
  • Background in HR tech, benefits SaaS, or healthcare technology strongly preferred.
  • Experience launching partnerships from zero through first revenue or scaled distribution strongly preferred.

The target base salary range for this position is $132,000 - $165,000, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including variable, stock options, and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
