The VP of Consultant Relations at Sword Health will spearhead the company’s global consultant and brokerage strategy, owning and scaling strategic partnerships with leading benefits consulting and advisory firms. This role is pivotal in expanding Sword’s market influence by positioning Sword as a trusted, category-defining, AI-first healthcare partner to consultants and their payer, employer, and health system clients. You will be responsible for crafting and executing strategies that leverage these partnerships to drive sustained growth, enterprise adoption, and long-term revenue impact.

This role reports to the Chief Enterprise Officer and is a core member of the Commercial Leadership Team.  You will work cross-functionally with Enterprise and Payor Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Partnerships, Product, and Clinical teams. • Own consultant-influenced pipeline and bookings targets, in partnership with Employer, Payor, and Enterprise Sales.
  • Develop consultant-specific engagement models, enablement programs, and go-to-market strategies that increase Sword’s footprint across the digital health ecosystem.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Marketing to optimize consultant- and broker-influenced pipeline generation, co-selling, and joint marketing efforts.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to consultants by articulating Sword’s clinical outcomes, AI differentiation, and economic value.
  • Monitor and report on alliance performance, consultant influence on pipeline, and ROI, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Act as the primary executive liaison for high-level issues, contract negotiations, and representation at key industry, consultant, and partner events.

  • What you need to have:
  • 10+ years of experience in consultant relations, including 5+ years in a leadership role at a major benefits consulting or brokerage firm; experience at WTW, Aon, or Mercer strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing alliance strategies that drive meaningful and measurable business outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of the employer, payor, and digital health market, with the ability to influence complex, multi-stakeholder buying decisions.
  • Exceptional executive-level communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced, data-driven environments.
  • Demonstrated history of exceeding alliance and partnership targets while balancing near-term impact with long-term strategic value.
