Key Responsibilities Include:
- Area Access Strategy Development: Collaborate with Area Access Leads and Business Unit (BU) Payer Strategy teams and Strategic Channel Account teams to tailor broader BU strategies into region-specific and sub-region-specific plans to drive formulary coverage and local access, ensuring alignment with key influencers in the market and their priorities (e.g., total cost of care reduction, formulary management, etc.)
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary link for customer-specific strategy and marketing among Area Access Leads, Area Access Executives, Payer Strategy, AbbVie Patient Services, and Brand BUs, creating marketing materials and strategic updates while leveraging insights (e.g., area-level influence maps, policy trends).
- Area-Level Marketing Execution: Develop and manage marketing materials to support Area Executives (AEs) as they drive access in their market, including helping them address unique regional or customer-type challenges (e.g., 340B, rate challenges, rise of aggregators, etc.)
- Analytics & Influence Mapping: Use area's Influence Maps and analytics tools to tailor messaging, promotions, and support materials to identified customer targets and current customers.
- Cross-Brand & Multi-Customer Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of multiple brands, diverse customer types (e.g., IDNs, VISNs, Employers), and sub-regional variations to drive effective targeting and resource allocation.
- Ongoing Optimization: Continuously update and refine marketing strategies in response to evolving market landscapes, payer policies, and competitive dynamics, ensuring AbbVie’s market access objectives are consistently met or exceeded.
