Position Summary
You will lead Market Access and Government Affairs in the Philippines. You will build trusted relationships with policymakers, payers, and health system stakeholders. You will design and deliver strategies that improve patient access and support business goals. Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Develop and execute market access and government affairs strategies to support access to innovation and business objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with national and local government, payers, health technology assessors, and relevant public agencies.
- Translate policy and payer insights into practical recommendations for commercial, medical, regulatory, and HEOR teams.
- Lead stakeholder engagement programs, public-private partnership initiatives, and evidence-based advocacy campaigns.
- Monitor policy, reimbursement, and regulatory developments and provide timely risk and opportunity briefings to senior leadership.
- Represent the company in industry forums, working groups and multi-stakeholder initiatives to advance patient-centred access solutions.
Why You?
Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals
- Bachelor’s degree in public policy, health policy, public health, life sciences, law, business or related field.
- Minimum 7 years relevant experience in market access, government affairs, public policy or payer engagement.
- Proven experience engaging with government agencies, payers, or health system decision makers in the Philippines.
- Strong policy analysis skills with a track record of translating insights into operational plans.
- Experience working cross-functionally with commercial, medical, HEOR, regulatory and legal teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Filipino language skills an advantage.
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus
- Advanced degree in public policy, health economics, public health, law, or business administration.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, vaccine, or broader healthcare sectors.
- Experience with health technology assessment (HTA), pricing, reimbursement submissions, or payer negotiations.
- Track record of designing and delivering public-private partnerships or pilot programs.
- Experience leading a small team or coaching colleagues to build capability.
- Familiarity with local and regional healthcare financing and insurance schemes.
Working Pattern
This role is based in the Philippines. The position is hybrid, with regular on-site presence required to engage internal teams and stakeholders. Significant external engagement and regular travel across the Philippines will be expected.
