IT Business Analyst - DIA R&D
We are looking for a motivated IT Business Analyst to join our Lab Experiment Management (LEM) product area. In this role, you will act as a vital link between R&D business users and our development teams, helping to translate scientific needs into clear, actionable agile user stories.
You will join a high-performing, 5-team Agile Release Train (ART) dedicated to delivering digital workflow solutions for Roche Diagnostics and Pharma. Working under the guidance of senior analysts, you will support the configuration and integration of our SaaS Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) ecosystem, gaining hands-on experience with specialized tools like HELM, ChemDraw, and Inventory Management systems.
Join us in our Warsaw or Poznań office 2 days per week - a hybrid approach designed to balance focused remote work with high-impact, in-person collaboration.
The Opportunity:
Support the Product team (PM, RTE, POs, developers) and other stakeholders.
Maintain the flow of value by updating Program Kanbans, boards, and trackers (RETINA (CodeBeamer) , ServiceNow, etc.).
Assist Product Owners in drafting user stories with basic acceptance criteria and persona details.
Help organize and prep the product backlog for refinement and sprint planning sessions.
Apply Agile principles and tool guidelines to support team decision-making.
Track and report on the status of active features and capabilities.
Gather data to assist senior leads in feature estimation and economic decision-making.
Document risks and identify dependencies between teams.
Identify and flag team-level impediments for escalation.
Monitor task distribution to help identify potential resource bottlenecks.
Facilitate communication between the team and Solution Architects/Engineering.
Help verify that team tasks align with the broader product strategy and execution goals.
Support the Release Train Engineer in executing program activities and operational tasks.
Coordinate logistics and support the delivery of System and Solution Demos.
Who you are:
Degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field, you understand the science behind our business.
Prior experience or a strong grasp of Agile/Scrum; familiarity with JIRA or CodeBeamer is a major plus.
Exceptional at breaking down complex problems and writing clear, detailed requirements.
A proactive team player who naturally supports the Product Manager and Dev team to achieve shared goals.
A "quality-first" approach, comfortable working within healthcare compliance and global standards.
Fluent in English and willing to work flexible hours (7am – 7pm CET) to connect with our global teams.
Driven by integrity, innovation, and a desire to simplify complex business processes.
