The “Fine Print” – What You’ll Do

The Medical Affairs Intern will support the Arcellx Medical Affairs team in advancing medical strategy and scientific communications for anito-cel in multiple myeloma and other pipeline assets. This role offers hands-on exposure to Medical Affairs activities in a fast-paced biotech environment, with opportunities to work cross-functionally with clinical development, regulatory, and commercial colleagues. Key responsibilities include:

  • Support development of medical and scientific materials, including:
    • Disease state and treatment landscape summaries
    • Mechanism of action (MOA) and clinical data slide decks
    • Scientific backgrounders and FAQs
  • Assist with medical review of materials to ensure scientific accuracy and appropriate data interpretation
  • Support planning and execution of scientific exchange activities, including advisory boards, national and regional congress activities, and small group interactions
  • Support ad-hoc Medical Affairs projects and strategic initiatives as needed

Skills and Experience We Look For

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed an advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, MS) in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or a related field
  • Strong interest in Medical Affairs, hematology/oncology drug development, and/or cell therapy
  • Foundational knowledge of oncology, immunology, or hematologic malignancies
  • Strong scientific writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced biotech environment
