Sword Health is seeking a Physical Therapist (Doctor of Physical Therapy) to join the Move business unit as part of our Clinical Operations team. In this remote role, you will create personalized programming through the Sword Portal to help members improve their physical health and achieve their goals, while building strong, trusting relationships. You will also innovate with coaching and programming protocols to enhance the member experience, ensuring high satisfaction and measurable improvements in both physical and mental health.
Important note: This is a seasonal position guaranteed for at least 3 months, with the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent role based on individual performance and business needs. This is a variable hours position with hours fluctuating between 25 hours/week and 40 hours/week.
The Move Team is designed to reduce pain, encourage consistent movement, and lower the risk of injury, Move helps prevent the costly consequences of physical inactivity. Each member is paired with a dedicated Physical Health Specialist who holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
Using real-time insights from an integrated wearable device alongside ongoing clinical assessments, Physical Health Specialists create personalized weekly Move Plans that adapt and evolve as members progress.
What you 'll be doing :Be a member of our Clinical Operations team working as a Physical Health Specialist remotely to provide direct support to our members.Working through the Sword Portal, create personalized activity programming for each member so they can improve their physical health and reach their goals.Provide support, and connection to build strong, trusting relationships with your members.Experiment and innovate with coaching and programming protocols to help improve our member experience and drive results.Ensure high member satisfaction, strong program completion, and improvements in the mental and physical health of your members.
What you need to have :Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.3+ years of Personal Training-related experience (ideally with digital app/solutions) or similar.Experience with clients' remote monitoring, programming, program progression and goal setting.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage members, being able to quickly develop strong rapport.Ability to think outside the box and adapt to a remote approach and is tech-savvy.Hard-working, self-starter who is able to handle the pressure of a fast-paced environment.A passion for health and wellness and a desire to support others.Knowledge of evidence-based exercises and ability to develop programs for all ability levels and comorbidities.
