The Role
As the Senior Marketing Manager for QualityOne in Japan, you will be the foundational marketing hire for this business unit. You will be responsible for defining and executing the go-to-market strategy to drive growth within the Consumer Goods sector. This is an entrepreneurial role for a hands-on leader who can move seamlessly from high-level strategic planning to "getting their hands dirty" in daily execution. You will report directly to the Japan Veeva QualityOne Vice President, with strategic support and mentorship from the Senior Director of Asia Marketing.
What You'll DoLead the Launch: Own the end-to-end marketing strategy for QualityOne in Japan, acting as the primary marketing stakeholder for the local teamPlan & Execute: Develop and implement localised demand gen programs, including digital campaigns, webinars, field events, and industry tradeshowsBuild the Foundation: Establish a robust database of prospects within the Japanese Consumer Goods and F&B market through associations and targeted outreachLocalise Strategy: Adapt global and Asia QualityOne messaging to resonate with the specific cultural and business nuances of the Japanese marketDrive Partnerships: Identify and manage relationships with key industry associations and third-party vendorsCross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales leader to ensure marketing activities are driving pipeline and supporting revenue goalsMeasurement: Manage the Japan marketing budget and use HubSpot to track, measure, and report on campaign performanceRequirements8+ years of experience in demand generation/field marketing in a Enterprise Software or Saas companyExperience marketing in JapanExperience breaking into new markets with a strong competitive landscapeIntegrated marketing program planning, execution, and reporting experienceProven ability to build relationships and collaborate across a number of stakeholders including sales, subject matter experts, services, and product marketing, and across multiple geographiesSelf-motivated, innovative, collaborative, multi-tasker, creative, and analyticalExperience in managing quarterly and annual program budgetsExperience in vendor management and negotiatingHands-on experience with sales and marketing automation systemsStrong project management skills; excellent attention to detailExcellent oral and written communication skillsProven ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is extremely importantStrong hands on team player with a positive attitudeExcellent written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to accurately translate and adapt complex English assets to JapaneseBachelor’s degree#LI-Remote
