In a global, cross-functional environment, the PCR Software Development chapter is responsible for developing and maintaining integrated, unified, and reliable software solutions for Molecular Diagnostics Systems. By leveraging advanced capabilities, in-depth knowledge, and strong internal and external partnerships, the chapter drives accuracy, efficiency, and agility—enhancing innovation in the molecular lab experience for customers and patients throughout their journey.

The Opportunity

  • Champion Agile Excellence: Lead and facilitate core Scrum ceremonies, ensuring the team remains deeply rooted in Agile principles while optimizing workflows for the Molecular Lab network.

  • Drive Global Collaboration: Act as a bridge within a cross-functional, intercultural environment, translating complex technical concepts into actionable goals across diverse global teams.

  • Deliver High-Impact Solutions: Oversee the development of integrated, unified software for Molecular Diagnostics, ensuring every line of code contributes to faster, more accurate patient results.

  • Navigate Regulated Environments: Apply technical expertise to deliver high-quality software that meets stringent medical compliance standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Foster Team Empowerment: Cultivate a culture of ownership where team members are encouraged to lead by example, promoting a spirit of continuous learning and professional growth.

  • Remove Delivery Blockers: Proactively identify and resolve systemic impediments, streamlining the path to high-quality software delivery and ensuring project milestones are met with precision.

  • Shape the Lab Experience: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to innovate the Molecular Lab journey, driving the agility needed to respond to evolving customer and patient needs.

  • Strategic Mentorship: Serve as a mentor and coach to the PCR Software Development chapter, building a resilient team capable of solving complex diagnostic challenges.

Who You Are

  • Agile Expert: You are a Certified SAFe Scrum Master with a proven track record of optimizing team performance and leading large-scale, complex projects to successful completion.

  • Technically Grounded: You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Software Development, Engineering, or a related specialized technical field.

  • Complex Problem Solver: You possess the ability to resolve intricate project challenges using a multi-faceted analytical approach and creative, out-of-the-box thinking.

  • Inclusive Communicator: You are a master of interpersonal dynamics, capable of fostering an inclusive environment and collaborating effectively across diverse, cross-functional teams.

  • Empathetic Leader: You lead by example to establish a psychologically safe workplace, empowering your team to take ownership while maintaining a high standard of accountability.

  • Quality Focused: You have extensive experience in delivering high-quality, compliant software, ideally within the medical device or highly regulated diagnostics industry.
