Help shape how business support works across AbbVie’s Czech Republic and Slovakia affiliate. As Business Support Team Lead, you will bring activities currently managed across different business units together into one centralized, service-oriented team. You’ll build and develop the team, establish clear processes and standards, and support a consistent, compliant, high-quality experience for colleagues across the affiliate.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the centralized Business Support operating model, including clear roles, accountability, service standards and effective workload allocation.
• Develop the team and foster a culture focused on responsiveness, quality, collaboration, compliance and continuous improvement.
• Design and implement end-to-end processes, SOPs, workflows and governance. Review existing ways of working to improve consistency, simplicity and control.
• Identify opportunities to standardize, simplify, automate and digitalize processes, and use business needs and stakeholder feedback to guide ongoing improvements.
• Oversee compliant administrative support for meetings, events, sponsorships, speaker engagements, purchasing and other business activities.
• Partner with Compliance, Finance, Procurement and other functions to maintain strong governance and audit readiness.
• Coordinate service-oriented facility and office management, external vendors, and local implementation of Environment, Health & Safety requirements.
• Work with relevant regional and global functions on local security, business continuity and emergency preparedness.
• Oversee support for internal and external meetings and leadership forums, including logistics, vendor coordination, purchasing and invoicing.
