Spearhead the execution and management of comprehensive, integrated category strategies for Capital Investment. In this role, you will serve as the Global Category Lead for Primary Equipment, totalling around £75m of annual spend.
Your responsibilities will include leading procurement and contracting strategies, encompassing sourcing activities, in alignment with GSK’s capital plans globally.

Category Lead: Responsible for definition and input into global category strategies to ensure business needs are met and deliver added value to the business.
Foster strong internal collaboration and sponsorship with senior stakeholders, including site and global engineering teams, to achieve GSK's Capex objectives, ensuring global deployment of strategies through effective implementation and transition plans.
Deliver high-quality, compliant, and timely agreements that are well-specified to provide a clear return on investment for GSK.
Ensure effective contract management to guarantee adherence to contractual terms and proactively anticipate deviations to implement corrective actions promptly.
Oversee a robust Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program with strategic and key suppliers, focusing on contract performance and governance.
Streamline the supplier base by prioritizing the use of preferred suppliers.
Conduct external benchmarking to ensure GSK's practices and strategies are in line with current market standards.
Generate significant value in terms of quality, delivery, safety, and cost, contributing to the organization’s overall goals and objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree/master’s degree in Procurement, Business, Finance, Engineering.
Proven 5+ years of Procurement experience across key procurement processes (e.g. category management, market analysis, sourcing, negotiation, contract management, supplier relationship management).
Experience in Capex projects and Equipment is highly preferable. Ideally having a good understanding about technical categories present within all capital projects: building services and process/biotech equipment and technical contractors.
Experience in Pharma/Life Science is a plus.
Experience in Lean / Six Sigma tools is a plus.
Good business acumen, analytical, and financial skills.
Fluent English.

Working arrangement
This role is hybrid with a regular presence in our Poland office. You will work on-site to collaborate with local teams and join virtual meetings with regional and global partners as needed.

The annual base salary in Poland for new hires in this position ranges from PLN 191,250 to PLN 318,750 gross, taking into account a number of factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. Depending on the role and internal policies, the position may also be eligible for a bonus (if applicable and based on defined, non-discretionary criteria) and/or awards for exceptional performance (granted at the employer’s discretion). All statutory benefits will be maintained in accordance with Polish law.
