Job Description:

JJSV is recruiting for a Counselor Training Specialist, located in Ahmedabad

The role is going to be responsible for development of doctors, optometrists, counselors and paramedical staff of eye hospitals through structured scientific informative training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures HCPs are well equipped with knowledge of procedure and products.
• Contribute to technology reach & adoption goals in this segment through training initiatives across assigned product ranges.
• Ensure internal & external customer delight and help grow assigned category.
• Educate & make JJSV brands the preferred choice through training.
• Build and supervise opportunities for internal team members.
• Build in house training plan/s as per customer requirement and implement it.
• Maintain a positive relationship with customers with the goal of improving category outcomes by assessment, critique and training.
• Communicate and empower via direct meetings and interactions with surgeons, administrators and key decision makers.
• Augment the sales efforts in competition account conversion.

Qualifications

Education:

• A bachelor’s degree in optometry is mandatory.
• A master’s degree or MBA will be an added advantage.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

• Should have 1-2 years of working experience as a trainer/counselor/Optometrist/Sales domain with thorough understanding of managed care.
• An Optometrist with experience of delivering trainings would be desirable.
• Proficiency in English, Hindi and knowledge of local language Gujrati is preferred.
• Should be comfortable carrying out training programs in Hybrid model – virtual & in-person.
