This role is based in the Diagnostics division where we focus on sustaining and increasing market share in existing accounts through high-value medical solutions. We operate with a customer-centric and holistic approach, delivering innovative proposals to our key stakeholders, clients, and patients to drive long-term business growth and sustainability.
As the Direct Sales Manager, your main focus will be to achieve commercial objectives by innovating, co-creating, and identifying new business opportunities. You will build deep relationships with key accounts to implement comprehensive, high-value medical diagnostic solutions.
You plan and execute commercial growth strategies in existing and new markets by interpreting data and utilizing market insights.
You build and maintain strategic networking relationships with high-level account stakeholders, including C-level executives, presidents, financial directors, medical directors, and laboratory heads.
You monitor and manage institutional budgets, expenditures, and revenues to protect and maximize organizational profitability.
You design effective commercial strategies, tailored sales presentations, and communication action plans that address specific client needs.
You collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments such as Logistics, Production, and Finance to ensure solutions align with operational capabilities.
You analyze the competitive landscape, target markets, and public/private market data to identify differentiators and increase overall market share.
You manage and lead engagement spaces with potential new clients to expand relationships and secure new business opportunities.
You negotiate commercial conditions, evaluate operational or legal risks, and implement continuous improvement actions to maximize customer satisfaction.
Who you are
You hold a University Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Health Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
You possess years of professional experience within the Diagnostic Industry.
You possess years of successful experience in commercial, sales management, or marketing functions & proven track record of leading high-performance teams.
You have a strong strategic and systemic vision, with the proven ability to interpret complex market data and translate it into successful action plans.
You demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to easily build environments of trust and manage stress effectively.
You are highly motivated, adaptive to change, resilient, and thrive in an Agile and collaborative team environment.
Advanced English and Spanish are required for this role.
Location: Based in Quito, Ecuador.
Reporting to: Commercial Director of Diagnostics.
