The Head of Strategic Contracting and Account Management will lead the development and execution of strategic contracting and key account management initiatives to drive commercial growth, customer partnerships, and long-term business value. This role is responsible for overseeing contract strategy, negotiating complex agreements, and building strong relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic contracting efforts for major accounts and customer segments, including budget oversight and staff development.
• Anticipate and monitor contracting and tendering activity across key accounts.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, Market Access, Supply Chain, and other relevant teams.
• Develop and manage account strategies for high-priority customers.
• Monitor contract performance, business impact, and renewal opportunities.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and market trends that influence account and contract strategy.
• Contribute actively to KAM team planning processes to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
• Present recommendations and business updates to senior leadership.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to drive strong execution and accountability.
• Report adverse drug events in accordance with applicable legislation and AbbVie policies.
• Model AbbVie WWW behaviors and support the Brand Team matrix to deliver high-quality strategy and execution across all assigned brands.
• Coach and develop top talent, set goals, conduct succession planning, and manage performance to align people performance with business goals, KPIs, and growth opportunities.
• Represent AbbVie to external stakeholders as a patient-centric and trusted healthcare partner, helping to build a strong and sustainable AbbVie brand image.
