The Position

The Record to Report Department, often abbreviated as R2R department provides financial services for more than 130 affiliates in the EMEA region. Our main areas covered are: General Ledger Accounting, Management Accounting, Treasury and Accounts Receivable. The department is constantly expanding since our main goal is to perform end-to-end accounting activities in the near future. 

As a Finance & Accounting Team Lead, focusing on Fixed Asset accounting you will coordinate complete, stringent, and timely finance and accounting tasks within the department's scope while proactively seeking opportunities to allow more effective cooperation between teams regardless of country or functional assignments.

In this role, you will focus on:

  • Leading people management activities, including recruitment, goal setting, and performance evaluations to support both operational excellence and professional growth.

  • Ensuring service quality and compliance by overseeing daily Capital and Lease Accounting operations in accordance with SOPs, ICFRs, and agreed service levels.

  • Proactively and constructively managing change initiatives, continuous improvement & automation projects and best practice implementations to support business and operational transformation across the EMEA region.

  • Fostering strong relationships with stakeholders in the respective business area to ensure a free flow of communication and alignment on regional requirements.

  • Providing and organizing assistance to other teams or team members facing workload challenges or requiring specialized expertise.

  • Coaching and mentoring team members by identifying knowledge gaps and ensuring the delivery of process training according to official learning paths.

  • Maintaining high integrity and safety standards by ensuring full compliance with corporate guidelines, SHE requirements, and applicable laws.

Who you are:

We are looking for someone who is self motivated, really passionate about his or her job and understands that providing a high-quality service is crucial for the organization. As an ideal team member you are open-minded, dedicated to make a difference and open to constant development. Furthermore, you have:

  • University degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting related discipline

  • ACCA or other accounting professional qualifications will be an added advantage

  • 6+ years of working experience in related field, around 4 years experience in people management, preferably leading team with a large span of control

  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software preferably SAP and MS office tools

  • Strong communication skills, expressing ideas and expectations in a clear and concise manner

  • Ability to work comfortably in a dynamic, changing and growing environment

  • Proficiency in English
