Kick-start your HR career in an international environment

Are you an accurate, proactive student who wants to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of HR topics? Join our HR team as an HR Operations Intern and discover how HR supports employees and managers throughout the entire employee journey.

You will become part of our daily HR operations, work closely with HR colleagues and HR Business Partners, and receive the opportunity to take real responsibility from the start. No two days will be the same: one moment you are supporting an onboarding activity, the next you are updating employee documentation or helping improve an HR process.

What will you do?

You will support the HR team with:

• Answering and following up on employee questions
• Preparing contracts, HR documents and internal communication
• Processing employee changes and performing data checks in Workday
• Supporting leave processes, including maternity and parental leave
• Assisting with UWV notifications and related administration
• Organising New Hire Day and onboarding activities
• Maintaining accurate and complete employee files
• Supporting HR reporting and ad hoc requests
• Improving an HR process by creating a checklist, work instruction or template

Who are we looking for?

You are currently enrolled in HRM, Business Administration, International Business, Office Management or a related study programme. You are available for 32 hours per week for a period of 5–6 months.

You also:

• Have a genuine interest in HR
• Work accurately and handle confidential information responsibly
• Are organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership
• Communicate professionally and are not afraid to ask questions
• Have good English communication skills
• Are comfortable working with Microsoft Office
• Speak Dutch, preferably, but this is not required

What will you gain?

You will learn how HR systems, employee documentation, onboarding, leave processes and daily HR support are managed in practice. You will also deliver a practical improvement that contributes directly to the quality or efficiency of our HR team.
