The Position

IT Business Analyst - Business Analysis For Master Data Management - RDT Pharma R&D Informatics you will be responsible for making decisions with impact at the process, organization, or program as well as at an operational level. 

Your will help drive successful completion of major projects/programs across portfolios as analytical or design lead.  Your impact may be within or across multiple portfolios and you will champion accountability by example.

The IT BA is an active role in the product’s lifecycle management. The primary role is to drive the application of strategies and concepts and determine the best course of action in PharmaCoviligence Master Data technology solutions. You serve as primary consultant to senior business Leads and internal/external subject matter experts for the organization on significant matters pertaining to strategic business and technology solutions.

Some of your regular activities also include scoping, planning and supporting the successful implementation of solutions. In addition you will  be required to work closely with  Business Users,  Product Owners, Product Managers, IT Business Partners and IT Architects  to develop a conceptual architecture for the solutions.

What you’ll be expected to work on:

• Contribute to and influence the  structure and completion of major programs. Develop advanced technological ideas and guide their development into a final solution. Establish new principles and concepts to independently address strategic business problems with technology solutions that are novel in their innovation and drive organizational change in the business to adopt new approaches to strategy and delivery.
• Communicates strategic information, issues and solution options across the enterprise or multiple large business portfolios. Enable great participation by all individuals on the team by creating a safe environment that empowers participants and challenges them at the same time. Foster healthy disagreements and discussions and ensure convergence and agreement.
• Lead large enterprise or multi portfolio initiatives. Able to influence inter-departmental decisions. Viewed as an area expert beyond our group. Act as team lead of a functional group. Able to represent managers at meetings and make basic decisions. Can influence decisions within an area. GI area expert
• May provide guidance and manage work of others for specific programs or objectives. Leads prioritization and planning for large strategic initiatives. 
• High quality Master Data is a part of a strong AI foundation, and this role will contribute to developing and maintaining the data foundations for Safety AI enablement. Apply advanced theoretical knowledge and establish new principles and concepts to independently address strategic business technology problems.

Who you are :

• Has deep business process domain knowledge and stays abreast of technology innovation in their domains.
• Requires Bachelors degree and 7+ years of related experience in life sciences/pharma and 5+ years guiding IT teams with focus on strategy and delivery of IT solutions.
• Has excellent communication and influencing skills 
• Always demonstrates leadership in his/her assignments
• Exhibits intellectual curiosity and integrity and has a strong passion to bring value-adding technology to the business.
• Has experience working in agile environments and exhibits a mindset in the approach to:
  • Enable a diverse group of partners to speak with a single voice
  • Ensure the right information is available to the development team in the right level of detail at the right time so that the product can be developed.
