As a trusted advisor and hands-on leader, this individual will guide the design and development of scalable, robust data layers and assets, ensuring solutions are aligned with evolving business needs and built with sustainability, accuracy, and agility in mind.

The ideal candidate is an experienced data professional who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, thrives in a collaborative cross-functional environment, and is passionate about enabling data-driven decision-making at scale.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership & Data Asset Strategy

  • Develop and lead data asset strategy for GCA capabilities across Marketing Analytics, Field Force Analytics, Performance Reporting, and Forecasting — ensuring alignment with commercial priorities and analytics capability roadmaps.

  • Partner closely with Digital and Technology teams to scale and industrialize data solutions from prototypes to enterprise-ready products.
  • Work with senior GCA leaders to create strategic data solution roadmaps that align to business and capability priorities, establishing a clear foundation for data-driven decision-making.

Technical & Operational Excellence

  • Serve as a hands-on technical leader, translating business requirements into enterprise-grade data architecture and engineering strategies — guiding design decisions and ensuring scalability, reusability, and adherence to data standards.
  • Oversee the development of robust data pipelines, query-friendly data structures, and analytics-ready data assets, ensuring reliability, performance, and quality.
  • Drive automation and optimization across data ingestion, transformation, and validation processes, establishing best practices and ensuring consistent adoption across the team.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements, embedding controls into technical designs and team workflows.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

  • Align closely with the PAE Data Strategy and Management Lead in setting direction and strategy for the team and ensuring the adoption of DSM standardsand governance models.
  • Serve as a strategic data advisor to GCA analytics teams and business stakeholders, leveraging deep commercial data expertise to shape recommendations on how to optimize, govern, and utilize data assets effectively.
  • Ensure alignment across business functions on data usage, fostering trust in data and driving business efficiency and analytic accuracy.
  • Partner closely with Performance Analytics & Insights (PAI), Data Science, and IIS teams, managing cross-team dependencies and enabling advanced analytics, modeling, and AI use cases.
  • Promote data literacy and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring accessible, reliable, and well-governed data across the organization.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data professionals, fostering a high-performing, collaborative environment within the GCA Mexico Analytics Center.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and data excellence, empowering team members to grow and contribute meaningfully.
  • Manage team capacity, priorities, and delivery plans, balancing short-term business needs with longer-term platform, governance, and capability investments.
