The Role
Are you a high-energy, team first, problem solver looking to accelerate your career in business operations? In this role, you will manage core operational processes for Veeva’s global Business Consulting practice, ensuring smooth execution, organizational efficiency, and data-driven insights that empower our field teams to scale. As a trusted thought partner, you’ll have end-to-end ownership of key operational processes to streamline business execution at scale.
What You’ll Do
Drive Practice Operational Discipline: Help streamline and maintain best practices across the Business Consulting practice, using data and clear communication to influence field teams and practice leaders without direct authority
Enable Data-Driven Decision Making: Track key operational metrics, generate actionable insights, and ensure reporting accuracy so leadership can make fast, informed business decisions
Streamline Operations & Improve Efficiency: Continuously audit current workflows to identify friction points; proactively build solutions that maximize productivity, eliminate administrative drag, and minimize costs
Act as a Collaborative Thought Partner: Build strong, cross-functional relationships across Business Consulting and broader Veeva teams, always keeping the bigger picture in mind and jumping in to support peers when needed
Adapt to Dynamic Priorities: Maintain agility in a fast-paced, evolving organization, anticipating operational challenges before they arise and pivoting quickly to address shifting business needs
Maintain Process & System Integrity: Ensure team adherence to operational procedures, taking deep personal ownership over deliverables and fixing issues root-cause when process gaps occur.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical exposure (e.g. 2+ years of corporate/consulting experience).
Demonstrated experience improving or automating manual processes in a school, project, or work setting
Demonstrated experience working in complex people environments, adeptly managing relationships upwards, downwards, and with peers to achieve a goal
Familiarity with data visualization or analytics tools (e.g., advanced Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or Salesforce)
Strong Operations Mindset: A natural inclination to keep processes buttoned up, paired with a relentless drive to bring order, logic, and structure to complex or fluid workflows.
Mission-First Team Player: Proven track record of putting team success and the broader organizational mission ahead of self, innate understanding that we all win together.
Global & Cross-Cultural Agility: Willingness and ability to collaborate seamlessly across diverse cultures, geographies, and time zones to support a globally distributed practice.
