The Position

As the Outcomes & Capability Lead, you will work with the affiliate’s Enabling Team to provide strategic guidance. Your primary role consists of driving business effectiveness and catalyzing innovation to deliver our Pharma Vision by embedding new skills and innovation frameworks to support team effectiveness and performance, as well as developing the overarching operations framework and fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Secondly, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the strategy for capability development (mindset, knowledge, and skills) across the organization based on customer needs.

Your Opportunity


The responsibilities for this role include:

  • Vision Realization: Drive the realization of our organization’s vision and defined outcomes of the Colombia Enabling Team (CET) while ensuring operational effectiveness of the leadership team.

  • Strategic Partnering: Partner closely with the General Manager and Chapter Leads to enable the achievement of Colombia Outcomes.

  • Ambition Management: Plan, track, and provide project management support to monitor progress and delivery of short-term and long-term ambitions, priorities, and outcomes of the affiliate.

  • International Connectivity: Partner with other Pharma International Functions to foster agility and augment end-to-end value delivery to the business.

  • Coaching & Ways of Working: Coach, train, and educate teams for high performance, guiding them in finding their own journey to self-organization, self-sufficiency, and adopting new ways of working and business principles.

  • Mindset Transformation: Leverage a range of tools and practices to enable sustainable change of mindsets and behaviors as required on best practice and be a champion of connecting dots and activating the learning loop across the organization.

  • Team Empowerment: Work in a self-managed, fully empowered team to shape what and how you deliver for the organization and your internal customers, collaborating with other chapters to shape the organizational culture.

  • Commercialization Capability Plan: Design the Integrated Capability Development Plan for commercialization roles, ensuring the integration of technical capabilities and skills through self-management, according to customer needs and filial outcomes.

  • Learning Ecosystem: Catalyze the development and reuse of models, materials, and tools from the global network to support ecosystem teams and individual colleagues in learning and development activities.

  • Training Effectiveness: Facilitate, coordinate, and track training activities according to regional and filial priorities, ensuring continuous improvement and effectiveness of tools through evaluation methods and data analytics.

Who you are

The person in this role is a Lean-Agile Leader with a Lean-Agile Mindset, driving innovation, adaptation to change, and encouraging teams to be curious and question the status quo. Possess strong expert knowledge about and experience with working by outcomes, with a clear goal orientation and commitment to create value in line with corporate objectives.

Thrives on collaboration, with the ability to bring people together and mobilize teams by building effective relationships to work towards the same purpose across organizational boundaries, promoting diversity. Is able to motivate, challenge, and coach senior leaders in the organization while fostering an environment of feedback, along with the ability to negotiate agreements and persuade stakeholders.

Has strong systems thinking and ability to understand the bigger picture, with the capability to diagnose system needs and lead simultaneous and complex processes. Understands market trends and customer needs, bringing a solid understanding of the Colombian pharmaceutical business environment.

  • Bachelor’s Degree is a requirement, relevant Graduate or Postgraduate Degree is a plus.

  • Relevant experience in similar roles with responsibilities that include definition and design of new ways of working, development and integration of capabilities into the company stategy.

  • Agile & Innovation Methodologies knowledge and practical experience.

  • Coaching certification and coaching experience is a plus.

  • Experience in adult learning development implementing Digital Learning when appropriate, including the use of new technologies.

  • Knowledge of learning solutions and continuity, alongside customer-oriented experience.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a requirement.
