About the role

Join our Quality Control laboratory to perform and support chemical and microbiological testing that ensures safe, high-quality medicines and vaccines reach patients. You will work with laboratory colleagues, technical teams and quality partners to deliver accurate, timely results while following GSK quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

Perform routine chemical and microbiological testing of raw materials, in‑process samples and finished products using approved methods and instruments.

Prepare reagents, maintain laboratory records and complete test documentation in line with procedures and data integrity principles.

Carry out equipment checks, basic maintenance, and support calibration and validation activities.

Investigate and document out‑of‑specification results; support root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Train new analysts and share practical knowledge to support team performance and reliable data generation.

Maintain inventory of consumables and support safe laboratory practice and EHS requirements.

Basic qualifications (required)

Saudi National.

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Microbiology or similar discipline.

Minimum 5 years’ laboratory experience in quality control, analytical testing or a similar role.

Practical knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and laboratory safety.

Experience with common analytical techniques and laboratory equipment.

Good written and spoken English for accurate documentation and team communication.

Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Word, Excel).

Preferred qualifications

Experience with method transfer, validation or stability testing.

Familiarity with quality management systems and risk‑based laboratory practices.

Experience troubleshooting and maintaining laboratory instruments.

Exposure to both chemical and microbiological testing.

Understanding of data integrity best practices and disciplined record keeping.

Strong problem solving and time management skills.

Working arrangements

This role requires regular on‑site laboratory presence at our Saudi Arabia facility.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية

إجراء الاختبارات الروتينية للكيمياء والميكروبيولوجيا للمواد الخام والعينات أثناء العملية والمنتجات النهائية باستخدام طرق وأدوات معتمدة.

إعداد الكواشف، الحفاظ على سجلات المختبر واستكمال وثائق الاختبار وفقاً للإجراءات ومبادئ نزاهة البيانات.

القيام بفحص المعدات والصيانة الأساسية، ودعم أنشطة المعايرة والتحقق.

التحقيق وتوثيق النتائج التي تكون خارج المواصفات؛ دعم تحليل الأسباب الجذرية والإجراءات التصحيحية.

تدريب المحللين الجدد ومشاركة المعرفة العملية لدعم أداء الفريق وتوليد بيانات موثوقة.

الحفاظ على مخزون المستهلكات ودعم ممارسات المختبر الآمنة ومتطلبات الصحة والسلامة المهنية (EHS).

المؤهلات الأساسية (المطلوبة)

الجنسية السعودية.

درجة البكالوريوس في الكيمياء، الكيمياء الحيوية، الصيدلة، الميكروبيولوجيا أو تخصص مشابه.

خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في المختبر في التحكم بالجودة، الاختبار التحليلي أو دور مشابه.

معرفة عملية بممارسات التصنيع الجيدة (GMP)، والممارسات المخبرية الجيدة (GLP) والسلامة بالمختبر.

خبرة بالتقنيات التحليلية الشائعة ومعدات المختبر.

إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية المكتوبة والمحادثة للتوثيق الدقيق والتواصل مع الفريق.

مهارة استخدام برامج المكتب القياسية (مثل Word وExcel).

المؤهلات المُفضلة

خبرة في نقل الطرق، التحقق أو اختبار الاستقرار.

معرفة بأنظمة إدارة الجودة وممارسات المختبر القائمة على المخاطر.

خبرة في حل مشاكل وصيانة معدات المختبر.

التعامل مع الاختبار الكيميائي والميكروبيولوجي.

فهم أفضل الممارسات لنزاهة البيانات والتوثيق المنضبط.

مهارات قوية في حل المشكلات وإدارة الوقت.
