We are seeking an individual who will perform histology for immunology drug discovery programs. The successful candidate will work in a group providing research support in target validation, target distribution, animal model development, pharmacology, and exploratory safety studies. Being detailed oriented is critical to this role.

Specific activities will include:

• Routine histology (e.g., tissue trimming, tissue processing, embedding, and sectioning of paraffin embedded and frozen tissues)
• Routine and special histochemical staining

Additional tasks include:

• Using computer-based laboratory tracking system (Sample Manager), Dream Path
• Willingness to get creative when working with novel tissues or challenging pathology endpoints.
