Description:

AbbVie Oncology Discovery is seeking a highly motivated and experienced cancer cell biologist to support drug discovery projects in our in vitro cancer biology team with a focus on antibody-drug conjugates. The candidate will work closely with a team of experienced scientists to develop and optimize key pharmacological, biochemical and cell-based assays to support multiple programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute in vitro studies to assess novel antibody-drug conjugates
  • Analyze and interpret experiments and present data to the broader project team and group meetings. Propose relevant follow-up experiments as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and/or optimize experimental procedures as needed to further the program goals.
  • Contribute to the preparation of data packages for scientific publications, regulatory documents, and patent applications
  • Work independently in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment as part of a diverse research team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance programs from early discovery to preclinical development
