The Senior Director, Digital Integration & Execution, Cell Therapy Supply Chain, is accountable for driving standardization across planning systems and ensuring the delivery of integrated, system-enabled solutions aligned with business planning processes. This role spans key Cell Therapy sites—including Summit (NJ), Bothell (WA), Devens (MA), and Leiden (Netherlands)—with responsibility for ensuring alignment to Global Supply Chain (GSC) strategies and priorities. 

The scope includes leading master data strategy and execution, including critical data cleansing and remediation, advancing system-based planning adoption, and driving enhancements across both digital systems and business processes to enable a scalable, integrated supply chain. 

  

Lead Change the Business activities and programs as the Cell Therapy Supply Chain organization continues to evolve and mature.  Leading effective programs to deliver enhanced value enabling digital advancement within Cell Therapy Supply Chain and identifying opportunities to drive simplification within the Master Data workstream.  

  

This position plays a key role enabling our tactical and executional teams to continue to drive the business while working closely with the leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment system process enhancements and priorities.  This person works closely together with the GSC leadership functions, CTDO, BP&T, business partners, and stakeholders and leverages supply chain knowledge for efficient functional support.  

  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Change the Business  
  • Partner with BP&T provide project leadership for programs designed to advance the GSC evolution and drive value and efficiency across both operations and the E2E planning and execution space.   
  • Engage with CTDO, IT, BP&T and GSC stakeholders to orchestrate future portfolio integrations into the BMS planning processes and systems to enable commercial success with rapid integration support into our legacy systems.   
  • Master Data Operations 
  • Drives master data and systems strategic work aligned with enterprise data governance, BP&T capabilities group and GSC priorities, ensuring consistency, scalability, and interoperability across modalities, regions, and digital platforms. 
  • Develop and own the Cell Therapy Supply Chain Master Data operating model to enable a digitally enabled, scalable supply chain  
  • Establish and run Master Data execution process across key domains (e.g., materials/products, vendors, sites/locations, planning parameters, and reference data), including clear decision rights, stewardship, and RACI.  
  • Partner with GSC Data Capability Owner to develop enterprise-grade data quality program that cover Cell Therapy modality: define critical data elements, standards, validation rules, and monitoring dashboards; drive remediation through measurable KPIs (accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness).  
  • Oversee master data lifecycle and change control (intake, triage, approval workflows, auditability, exception handling, and release management) to ensure controlled, compliant, and sustainable updates. 
  • Execute data cleansing and harmonization (UoM, hierarchies, naming conventions, duplicate prevention, attribute standardization) to eliminate planning/execution errors and improve network visibility.  
  • Define and govern cross-site  master data alignment so product and supply chain data stays synchronized across ERP, planning tools, manufacturing systems, and analytics platforms.  
  • Partner with master data teams from adjust systems (MES, LIMS, GPS etc.) to drive harmonized master data execution process.   
  • Ensure master data practices meet regulated expectations for data integrity, access controls, traceability, and documentation to support audit readiness and trusted reporting.  
  • Build and lead a high-performing Master Data organization (domain leads, stewards, analysts), including training, playbooks, adoption, and continuous improvement routines to sustain performance.  

   

  • Leads and support the E2E planning and executions team training and platform adoption  
  • Partner with BP&T to ensure training curricula across SAP IBP/Kinaxis and other planning toolsets are adequate, comprehensive and robust as the processes and system capability evolves.  
  • Enables & ensures progress on training roll out and functional user adoption with key KPIs to reflect one source of truth and system-based plan.  
  • Support CTSC Leaders as needed for any non-standard business process gap that needs to be addressed such as identifying master data gaps, inefficient process flows  
  • Digital Acumen, Analytics, and Learning 
  • Leads digital enablement with cross-functional teams, integrating enterprise tools and automation for supply chain efficiency. Connects data and processes to upstream/downstream activities.  
  • Oversees execution and deployment of digital solutions, ensuring successful implementation, adoption, and value realization across the supply chain network. 
  • Utilizes visualization and data tools (Tableau, Power BI, Solvace etc) to monitor KPIs, perform root cause analysis, and support data-driven decisions.  
  • Executes tasks using tools (SAP, Tableau, Riverlogic, Kinaxis), follows SOPs, and maintains data and planning accuracy.  
  • Demonstrates curiosity and adaptability in learning and integrating new digital tools and platforms.  
  • Familiar with AI and ML systems for performance management and optimization.  
  • Actively upskills on emerging digital technologies and analytics techniques, adopting tools and machine learning in planning.  
  • Supports strategic digital initiatives, including automation, dashboard development, and AI/ML-enabled tools for predictive planning and supply chain responsiveness.  
  • Supports cross-functional projects on digital process redesign and capability building using platforms like SAP IBP, Kinaxis, and cloud-based analytics.  
  • Models a growth mindset by continually learning and experimenting with digital innovations, fostering a digitally savvy team culture.  
  • Leadership:   
  • Leads a global organization of leaders, including managing managers and senior individual contributors across master data, digital integration, and planning enablement domains. 
  • Builds and develops a high-performing leadership team across multiple geographies, ensuring clear accountability, strong succession planning, and organizational scalability. 
  • Acts as a senior leader within Cell Therapy Supply Chain and GSC, influencing cross-functional stakeholders and driving alignment across BP&T, CTDO, IT, and site leadership teams. 
  • Is an ambassador within CTSC to enable change the business across tactical planning and operational environment  
  • Enables rapid decision-making by providing critical business intelligence surrounding current business and system processes thus helping our functional partners prioritize enhancements and issue resolution  

   

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, supply chain or business with a Masters or MBA preferred.  
  • Minimum of 14+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, preferably in the biopharma industry  
  • Proven experience in digital system design, architecture, and integration across supply chain platforms (e.g., ERP, planning systems, MES, LIMS), including translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions. 
  • Demonstrated track record of leading large-scale digital program execution, including implementation, change management, and sustained adoption across global organizations. 
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills at all levels of the organization; excellent presentation skills, both material creation and delivery  
  • Demonstrated learning agility; ability to adapt in an agile way as required  
  • Ability to set and deliver results in dynamic, rapidly evolving environments; ability to think critically about issues and understand context and likely challenges; ability to balance strategic awareness & direction setting with consistent tactical results  
  • Ability to closely monitor execution of plans, measure of results and correct deviations, as appropriate

Devens - MA - US: $236,220 - $286,247 Madison - Giralda - NJ - US: $220,770 - $267,522 New Brunswick - NJ - US: $220,770 - $267,522 Princeton - NJ - US: $220,770 - $267,522 Seattle - WA: $242,850 - $294,281

The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
