Job Description and Key Responsibilities
The Senior Director, Portfolio Communications & Public Affairs – AP is accountable for leading integrated communications and public affairs strategy across Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine’s portfolio in the Asia Pacific region, ensuring strong alignment with global therapeutic area strategies while addressing the unique commercial, policy, and reputational dynamics of Asia Pacific markets.
Reporting to the Vice President, AP Communications & Public Affairs, this role serves as the senior regional leader responsible for portfolio‑level communications and public affairs strategy, spanning Oncology, Immunology, Neuroscience/Cardiopulmonary and other priority assets, in close partnership with Global Therapeutic Area teams, Public Affairs, and the HUB team.
This role ensures that AP operates as an effective bridge between global strategy and local execution, delivering consistent, high‑impact communications that support launches, growth brands, market shaping, and license‑to‑operate priorities across priority and cluster markets.
The role sits on the Asia Pacific Strategy Organization (APSO) Leadership Team and is a critical senior leader on the Asia Pacific Communication & Public Affairs Leadership Team (AP CPA LT).
