Shape reimbursement strategy. Influence healthcare access. Help deliver medicines to the patients who need them most.

At AbbVie, we don't just develop innovative medicines. We work to ensure patients can access them.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Value & Access Manager to play a critical role in shaping access strategy across Australia and New Zealand for a diverse and growing portfolio of medicines. This is an opportunity to sit at the intersection of science, policy, health economics, and commercial strategy while working alongside some of the most respected leaders in the industry.

If you've got demonstrated experience leading PBAC, MSAC and PHARMAC submissions and are looking for a broader strategic role with greater influence across the business, we'd love to speak with you.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead preparation of PBAC, MSAC and PHARMAC submissions, including writing clear, evidence-based content, with accountability for quality, alignment, and delivery timelines.
  • Serve as the market access lead on cross-functional teams, delivering reliable access and payer insights to shape strategy and inform business planning.
  • Lead reimbursement feasibility assessments for pipeline assets to support portfolio prioritisation and resource allocation.
  • Monitor the evolving reimbursement and policy landscape in Australia and New Zealand and contribute to stakeholder engagement activities that support access objectives.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure local access insights inform evidence planning and support alignment on access and pricing strategy.
  • Provide input into reimbursement and pricing assumptions for financial planning cycles
  • Coach/mentor less experienced Value and Access colleagues
  • Represent AbbVie externally with Department of Health, Medicines Australia and external experts relevant to portfolio as required.
  • Report any adverse event within 24 hours as per AbbVie’s policies and procedures.
  • Proactively participate in AbbVie’s WHS programs, adhere to policies and promote a safe work environment at all times.
  • Adhere to AbbVie’s internal codes of conduct and compliance processes.
  • Other ad hoc duties such as administrative duties, as requested.
