The Role
The Services Engagement Manager (SEM) is responsible for setting our Commercial Cloud customers up for success and representing the entire value proposition and effort behind a Commercial Cloud Implementation. This is a critical role in ensuring successful implementation and serves as an integral part of the sales cycle and during project delivery, acting as a solution expert working in close alignment with the Veeva Sales and Services Teams.
What You’ll Do
Utilizing Commercial domain knowledge and Veeva product knowledge, the SEM will structure the right implementation approach, set the right expectations, and identify the appropriate project charter; including staffing, timeframes, and associated costs.
Develop and deliver Proposals and Statements of Work (SOW) for Commercial Cloud implementations and enhancements.
Set customer and internal stakeholder expectations correctly with a focus on long-term success.
Provide awareness and alignment with the implementation partner ecosystem.
Position Managed Services support, training, and other solutions that may be needed for a successful customer experience.
Requirements
Experience in business process improvement or software implementation at a consulting firm (domestic or foreign), or experience in services sales at an IT company.
5+ years of experience delivering consulting services, including involvement in selling services.
Business-level English communication skills (capable of collaborating with global teams).
Strong written and verbal communication skills, executive-level presence, and experience in facilitation.
Manage negotiations with a wide range of stakeholders including executive-level.
